Here are a list of collaborators that are interested in reaching out to the BIPOC community and to support student life. Hope you find this page helpful and feel free to reach out to our association as well if there is any way we can support you.
The Family Centre
The Family Centre is a non-profit charitable organization that offers free, low-cost, and subsidized access that offers programs such as: Counselling; Child, Youth and Family services; translation services in over 60 languages, therapy groups and The Rainbow Pages Resource Guide that supports LGBTQ+ youth. Their goal is to provide a safe space for all ages, gender, culture, religion and sexual orientations. Ubuntu Certificate
Ubuntu is a community of post-secondary students and organizations working together to inspire communities, locally and globally. In promoting BIPOC participation, the Ubuntu Individual Social Responsibility(ISR) will help differentiate students in their search for purposeful employment while strengthening ISR principles. Students are required to meet five ISR-based criteria to obtain a certificate: Mental Health, Volunteering, Donation, Personal Environment Footprint, and Feedback 3rd Party Career Mentorship.

NUTTEA Discount
Nuttea is a vegan tea shop specialized in house-made nut mylk and cream. Nuttea is offering a 10% off walk-in discount to all U of A students. They are located on Whyte Avenue (Basement of 8204 Gateway Blvd) and you just have to identify yourself as a UofA student.
